How Bad Posture & Back Pain Can Affect Your Mental Health

Your chest becomes shallow, and breathing strains your lungs. Your lungs then need to move faster to ensure you have adequate oxygen flow, which taxes the heart and forces it to speed up. The result is a hamster wheel of shallow breathing, which creates more stress on the body, and nobody has time for that!
